Box Score Fort Lauderdale, Florida - The Fighting Knights looked to avenge a loss from earlier in the season, but they fell on the road in five sets to the Sharks.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The Sharks won the first set 25-19 to extend their winning streak over Lynn to four-straight sets. In that set, they hit .405 and recorded 18 kills to Lynn's 10.
- In the second set, Lynn proved they weren't going down without a fight, as they won the set 27-25 behind a .286 hit percetage.
- The Fighting Knights kept their hot play going into the third set, where they pulled out the 25-22 win.
- Up 2-1, the Fighting Knights attempted to put the game away in the fourth set, but the Sharks fought back to take the set 25-19 and even up the match 2-2.
- In the final set of the night, the Sharks pulled away early and Lynn was never able to come back. The Fighting Knights ultimately fell 15-10.
- Ruth Zijlstra led the game with a season-high 32 digs. It was one dig away from tying her career-high of 33. She also had three assists and a service ace.
- Victoria Macaluso recorded nine kills, a hit percentage of .438 and three blocks. Fellow middle blocker Lauren Odom also recorded nine kills with a hitting percentage of .412. She also added four blocks to add to her Lynn career record.
- Nadia Lindner led the game with 22 kills, and she recorded 13 digs. She was one of two Fighting Knights to record a double-double. The other was Sonja Udovcic who recorded 13 kills and 11 digs.
- Emily Edwards led the team with 28 assists, and she added six digs. Adrianna Casados added 21 assists and seven digs.
- As a team, the Fighting Knights recorded 76 digs and a hit percentage of .222.

The Fighting Knights will be home for the weekend, taking on Rollins on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. and Embry-Riddle on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. Lynn University will be honoring Helen Kreuzer, the winner of the 2021 women's golf national championship, between the second and third sets of Friday night's match against the Tars.
