Davie, Florida – In their second tournament of the season, the Fighting Knights finished second overall, posting a score of 845 (-7) and defeating No. 2 West Florida in the process.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights finished second overall in a loaded field that featured No. 2 West Florida and eight SSC teams other than Lynn. The Blue and White were able to defeat all conference opponents except for Barry, who took home first place by six strokes.
- The Fighting Knights were the best scoring team on Par 4s, shooting +10, which was three strokes better than both Keiser and Florida Southern. Lynn also finished with the second-best score on Par 5s, shooting -10 over three rounds.
- Lynn was led by Joseph Hudak who shot a 209 (-4), which was good enough for fourth place in the event. Hudak was tied for third-best in the entire tournament on Par 4s. He shot -3 on such holes across all three rounds. He also shot -3 on Par 5s.
- For the second time this season, Alejandro Madariaga was the second placing golfer for the Fighting Knights, this time shooting one stroke behind Hudak to finish the tournament at 210 (-3) and tied for fifth. Madariaga was also tied for fifth in par 5 scoring, finishing the tournament at -4 on such holes. He led the Fighting Knights with 41 pars, which was the second-highest total of the event.
- Eloy Vigil finished the event tied for 12th with a score of 212 (-1). He posted 11 birdies, the most of any Fighting Knight, and he led the tournament in par 3 scoring (-4).
- Anthony Muttilo finished the tournament tied for 17th after shooting a 214 (+1). His opening round 69 was tied for the lowest score of the event for the Fighting Knights.
- Mariano Ayora Gomez, who led the way for the Fighting Knights at the Jay Jenison Cup, finished tied for 61st, shooting 228 (+15).

The Fighting Knights will compete in the Copperhead Championship at the Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida on Oct. 18 and 19.
