Boca Raton, Florida – On a cold and sunny Saturday afternoon, the Fighting Knights picked up their first win of the season, defeating the Tars 136.5-125.5 for a Senior Day victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the first event, 200 Yard Medley Relay, the Fighting Knights placed first. The team of Thomas Labarias, Ignacio Alvarez, Malek Masmoudi, and Julian Chan Quee Lin had a time of 1:34.58.
- Masmoudi picked up second place in the 1000 Yard Freestyle for Lynn. His time of 9:40.91 was just behind first.
- Joshua Fountain would put the Fighting Knights back at the top. In the 200 Yard Freestyle, he had a time of 1:45.44.
- In the 100 Yard Backstroke, the Fighting Knights picked up first and second place. Labarias and Mike Sickels put up times of 53.42 and 54.45, respectively.
- In the 100 Yard Breaststroke, the Fighting Knights placed fourth through seventh. Leading them was Alvarez with 1:00.54.
- Chan Quee Lin added another first place for the Fighting Knights. His time of 1:58.14 led the 200 Yard Butterfly.
- Dalton Brown kept the winning going in the 50 Yard Freestyle. His time of 21.99 took first by .20.
- In the 100 Yard Freestyle, the Fighting Knights placed second. Labarias had a time of 48.61 to help Lynn.
- Lynn took first and second again in the 200 Yard Backstroke. Sickels and Fountain took first and second with times of 1:58.62 and 1:59.27, respectively.
- In the 200 Yard Breaststroke, the Fighting Knights' best finish was fifth.
- In the 500 Yard Freestyle, Masmoudi picked up first place. His time of 4:36.71 took first by .23.
- In the 100 Yard Butterfly, the Fighting Knights took first, second and third. Chan Quee Lin, Ethan Sido, and Owen Pogwist placed them with times of 51.74, 52.67, and 53.85, respectively.
- Masmoudi took first place again in the 200 Yard IM. He had a time of 1:56.42, almost two seconds faster than second.
- In the final event, the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, Lynn again took first place. The team of Labarias, Chan Quee Lin, Brown and Fountain had a time of 3:09.63.

The Fighting Knights' next event will be the SSC Championship on Wednesday, Feb. 16 in Clearwater, Florida.
