INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Lynn University swimming capped off an electric weekend at the House of Champions with a flurry of standout finals performances from both squads, highlighted by record-breaking swims and multiple podium finishes. On the women's side,
Lydia Douthit,
Mariele De Santis, and
Luz Tapia powered Lynn to a seventh-place team finish with 1,059 points, while the men stormed to fourth overall behind dominant efforts from
Maurice Grabowski and
Vitaly Kostin, each shattering meet records, and a statement-making victory in the 400 free relay to close out competition

HOW IT HAPPENED (Women):
- Douthit opened Saturday's finals for Lynn, placing seventh in the 50 fly (25.16)
- De Santis continued her strong start to the season in the 200 back, taking home second place with a finals time of 2:00.15

Luz Tapia took ninth in the 100 free (50.85) followed closely by
Malaika Schneider in tenth (51.28).
Lily Drons rounded out the event with an 18th place time of 51.80
- Douthit placed again in the 200 fly, earning a fifth place finish of 2:03.63
- The team of Tapia,
Krystina Zavalaga, Drons and Schneider closed out the meet on the women's side with a fourth place finish in the 400 free relay (3:24.99)
- The Fighting Knight women finished in seventh place for the weekend with 1059 total points

HOW IT HAPPENED (Men):
- On the men's side,
Enzo Constable got things rolling for the Blue and White, coming in second in the 50 fly with a time of 21.14, just .01 off from first place
- Lynn featured three swimmers in the top nine of the 200 back finals as
Paul Melcer led the way with a fifth-place finish of 1:47.67,
Xavier Washington came in behind at sixth (1:47.87) and
Kamil Geisner placed ninth (1:45.78)
- The Fighting Knights dominated the 100 free as Grabowski shattered the House of Champions record with a first-place time of 43.19.
- Grabowski was followed by Constable in second with a finish of 43.82 while
Owen Kerkezi rounded out the event at 45.64 for 18th place

Max Tsyfarov continued his dominant weekend with a second place finish in the 200 breast, completing the event in 1:56.69
- Kostin racked up another win on the weekend with a 1:45.22 finish in the 200 fly to shatter the meet record by nearly a full second.
- Kostin earned another spot on the podium in the 100 individual medley, placing second with a time of 49.97
- In fitting fashion, the men closed out the meet with a final relay victory as the squad of Kostin, Constable, Melcer, and Grabowski smashed the meet record in the 400 free relay with a finish of 2:54.70
- The Blue and White men ended the meet in fourth place with 1795 points
