Clearwater, Florida – On Day 2 of the SSC Championship, the Fighting Knights had many swimmers qualify for the NCAA Championship and one guarantee a spot.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights struck gold in the women's 50-yard freestyle. Luna Mertins placed first for the Fighting Knights with her time of 22.74. Her time also guarantees her a spot in the NCAA Championship besting the A standard of 22.80.
- For the women's 200-yard IM, Ewa Osiniak placed seventh with her time of 2:04.84. Her time beat the B standard of 2:05.36 to qualify her for the NCAA Championship.
- In the men's first event, the 50-yard freestyle, Julian Chan Quee Lin placed sixth with 20.46. His time qualifies him for the NCAA Championship beating the B standard of 20.61.
- Malek Masmoudi also placed sixth for Lynn in the 1000-yard freestyle with his time of 9:19.32. His time qualifies him for the NCAA Championship beating the B standard of 9:31.67.
- In the women's 200-yard medley relay, the team of Karolina Smylek, Osiniak, Mertins, and Mathilde Bartolini placed second with a time of 1:42.77. This team also qualified for the NCAA Championship beating the B standard of 1:42.98.
- In the men's 200-yard medley relay, the Fighting Knights placed sixth.
- After two days, the women's swim team is in 4th place with 124 points.
- After two days, the men's swim team is in 5th place with 98 points.

The Fighting Knights' next event will be Day 3 of the SSC Championship on Friday, Feb. 18th in Clearwater, Florida.
