Clearwater, Florida – On day four of the SSC Championship, the Fighting Knights were not able to break any new ground in their placement rankings. They were, however, able to break more records and qualify more athletes.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Starting off the event for the men, Malek Masmoudi placed fifth in the men's 500 Freestyle with a time of 4:26.36. He qualifies for the B standard for the NCAA Championship with his time. His time also sets a new record for the Fighting Knights. His time beats the previous Lynn mark set by Joshua Fountain back in November (4:27.54).
- In the Women 200 Yard Butterfly, Luna Mertins placed second with a time of 1:59.27. She guarantees a spot in the NCAA Championship, beating the A standard time of 1:59.37. She also beat her previous mark of 2:05.14 to establish a new school record.
- Alex Callaghan also had an incredibly impressive day. Her times in the 50 and 100-meter Breaststroke were good enough to qualify her for the Paralympics.
- In the Women 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the Fighting Knights placed sixth with a time of 1:38.63.
- Finally in the Men 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, Lynn took seventh place with 1:24.86.
- After three days, the women's swim team is in 4th with 276 points.
- After three days, the men's swim team is in 6th with 204 points.

The Fighting Knights' next event will be the fifth and final day of the SSC Championship on Sunday, Feb. 20th in Clearwater, Florida.
