Melbourne, Florida - The Fighting Knights competed in the Panther Invitational, finishing sixth overall and defeating four SSC opponents.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights shot a 298 in the first round to begin the tournament in a tie for second place.
- In the second round, Lynn shot a 300, and though the score was only two strokes worse than their first round total, it moved them back into fifth place.
- In the final round, Lynn shot their best round of the tournament, a 292, but they dropped to sixth overall for the event.
- The Fighting Knights were led by Eloy Vigil, who shot a 221 (+5) to finish tied for 20th. He was -5 on Par 5s and shot 11 birdies over the course of the event.
- Joseph Hudak was the second-best Fighting Knight, shooting 222 (+6) to finish 22nd. He was the only Fighting Knight to record an eagle at the event.
- Right behind Hudak was Anthony Muttillo who shot a 223 (+7) to finish 23rd.
- Alejandro Madariaga struggled in the first round but used a second round 71 (-1) to get back on track. He would finish with a score of 229 (+13) and tied for 38th. He was the only Lynn golfer with a round under par.
- Jose Ramirez finished tied for 49th with a score of 232 (+16).
- As a team, the Fighting Knights were the fourth-best team on Par 4s, shooting +42 over three rounds. They were also tied for the fourth-most pars, recording 162 of them.

The Fighting Knights will compete in the Southeast Regional Preview in Valdosta, Ga. from Mar. 14-15.
