Greensboro, North Carolina – After a successful trip to the SSC Championship, the Fighting Knights sent many athletes to compete in the Divison II NCAA Championship. Competing in different relay and freestyle events today, the Fighting Knights have not lost a step in their success this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the first event of the evening, the Fighting Knights participated in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. The team of Karolina Smylek, Ewa Osiniak, Luna Mertins, and Mathilde Bartolini placed 13th with a time of 1:43.00. Their time was about three seconds behind the first-place time of 1:38.83.
- In the Men 1000 Yard Freestyle, Malek Masmoudi swam for the Fighting Knights. His time of 9:18.24 took home 16th place. His finish was the first-ever NCAA Championship point finish for Lynn's Men's Swimming team.
- For the women's individuals, Mertins continued the success that she has had on the season. In the Women 50 Yard Freestyle, she placed sixth for the Fighting Knights with a time of 22.84, .69 behind first.
- Masmoudi and all of the women from the medley relay team are all Honorable Mention All-Americans.

Day 2 of the NCAA Championship is tomorrow Thursday, Mar. 10th in Greensboro, North Carolina.
