HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Alejandro Madariaga, Joseph Hudak and Anthony Muttillo all finished tied for ninth, shooting even-par in round one.
- Eloy Vigil shot a 76 (+4) to round out the scoring for the Fighting Knights. He is currently tied for 33rd.
- Mariano Ayora Gomez shot a 78 (+6) to finish the round tied for 40th.
- The Fighting Knights are tied with the Sharks from Nova Southeastern, and they are just one stroke behind Saint Leo who is currently in fourth.
- Barry leads the field with a team score of 286, six strokes better than Lynn.
- Lynn led all teams in Par 5 scoring, shooting -10 as a team, four strokes better than the next best group.
- Hudak recorded one of five eagles on the first day of play. He and Madariaga were both -3 on Par 5s, one stroke worse than Hartford from Palm Beach Atlantic who leads the field.
