Boca Raton, Florida - Current Lynn University golfer Sara Ericsson has defeated a field of both professionals and amateurs at the 2022 Vasteras Open Presented by PadelPitch. Ericsson shot a three round total of 210, then defeated New Zealand professional golfer Hanee Song in a playoff.

The Vasteras Open is part of the Ladies European Tour Access Series, which is the tier below the Ladies European Tour. The event took place in Ericsson's home country of Sweden.

Ericsson posted the lowest round of the tournament when she shot a 67 (-5) in the second round. She and Song each finished at -6 for the tournament, a full six strokes ahead of the third place finishers.

The 2021-22 All-American will return to Boca Raton this month to compete with the golf team as they look to win a Sunshine State Conference title.
