Swimming teams garner CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America Status

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn University men's and women's swimming programs were named 2022 Fall Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) following a standout semester in the classroom.

The Fighting Knight women posted a cumulative GPA of 3.68 for the fall 2022 semester and have been named a Scholar All-America team for 15-straight fall semesters. The women's GPA is tied for the fourth highest among the 80 NCAA Division II programs to earn the award.

Meanwhile, the Lynn men earned a 3.48 GPA and have been named a Scholar All-America team for the third-straight fall. The men's GPA is the fourth-best mark among the 55 DII programs honored by the CSCAA.

For teams to be recognized they must post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.

Both programs garnered Scholar All-America status last spring after the women posted a 3.6 and the men achieved a 3.42 GPA. The 2023 spring awards will be released this coming summer.

The Lynn men and women return to the pool on Wednesday, Feb. 15 through Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Sunshine State Conference Championships.
