DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Collin Clark and the women's 4x400-meter relay team both set school records to highlight the Lynn University track team's impressive final day at the Spikes Classic at Embry-Riddle University, Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Clark posted a victory in the 400-meter dash and shattered his own school record in the process by finishing with a time of 47.88, nearly a second better than his previous school record
- Lynn had two teams compete in the 4x400-meter relay on the women's side
- The foursome of
Deike Schipper,
Lily Koch,
Makayla Lewis and
Emma Campbell finished in second place and set a new school record at 4:18.42
- The second 4x400 of
Zoey Bishop,
Blair Vignes,
Donya Dreibelbis and
Brooke Bond finished in fifth place at 4:45.27

Paul Mosley finished in second place in the 200-meter dash in 22.62 and was seventh in the 100-meter dash in 10.72
- In the 800-meter run,
David Cueje Luque nearly toppled a school record when he took fifth in 1:53.81

Thomas Ashley finished in 17
th in the 800 (1:57.20), while
Renzo Almeida (1:59.50) was 20
th and
John Ross Donnes was 22
nd (1:59.80)

Brooke Mullins finished in 19
th place in the 800 in 2:24.63,
Lily Koch was 22
nd in 2:26.83, while
Emma Campbell took 24
th in 2:27.66
- In the 400-meter dash, Schipper was 11
th in 1:05.82,
Makayla Lewis was 14
th in 1:09.87 and
Natalia Kalmeijer took 17th in 1:12.37
- Three Lynn men's 4x400-meter relay teams finished inside the top 11
- Clark, Cueje Luque,
Philip Henderson and
Alex Miranda crossed the line in seventh place with a time of 3:28.98
- Mosley, Ashley, Donnes and Derek Romich took ninth place in 3:36.70
