MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has announced its 2023 All-Conference Men's Tennis teams and senior Diego Gonzalez and freshman Yaron Guberman each earned awards for their singles play this season.
 
Gonzalez was selected to the second team, while Guberman was named to the honorable mention. Gonzalez was a first team honoree in doubles action last spring.
 
This spring, Gonzalez is 10-7 overall with nine of those wins coming at No. 1 singles. He won 7-of-9 singles matches during the middle part of the season and finished fourth on the team with his 10 victories. He also posted three wins in five matches against SSC opponents.
 
Gonzalez added 11 wins in doubles action including 10 in the second flight.
 
Guberman paced the Fighting Knights with 13 wins in singles play this spring as 11 wins came in the third flight and two came in the fifth flight. Guberman posted five wins against ranked teams, finished 5-1 in the SSC and has won nine of his last 12 matches. 
 
In doubles play, Guberman has 11 wins on the season with 10 of them coming in the third flight.
 
The Fighting Knights return to action on Friday at 10:00 am when they face No. 1 Saint Leo in the NCAA South Regional Tournament.
