Camila Madariaga and freshman
Isabelle Schlick each sit at +2, 146 after the first two days of the 2023 NCAA DII National Championship and the duo have helped top-ranked Lynn into fourth place, Wednesday.
The Fighting Knights started the day in fifth place and they shot a +6, 294 in the second round to jump into sole possession of fourth place at +15, 591. Second-ranked DBU (+4, 580), fourth-ranked Findlay (+7, 583) and third-ranked Nova Southeastern (+10, 586) sit ahead of Lynn in the standings.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn is third in the field in Par 3 scoring (E, 3.00) and second in pars (113)
- Madariaga and Schlick are tied for ninth in the individual standings
- Madariaga led the Fighting Knights on day two at -1, 71 behind four birdies on the front nine and a closing birdie on the 18
th hole
- Schlick fired an E, 72 behind two birdies on the front nine and two on the back nine including the 18
th hole
- She is tied for sixth in Par 3 scoring at -2, 2.75
- Junior
Sara Ericsson shot a +1, 73 to settle at +5, 149 after two rounds and is tied for 32
nd place
- Junior
Adriana Iribarren is tied for 57
th place after two rounds at +10, 154. She shot a +11, 83 on day two
- Graduate student
Maria Hoyos is tied for 67
th place at +12, 156 after a +6, 78 in the second round
