The Fighting Knights are averaging 24 wins per season during their current three-year run, the highest total during any stretch in the 26-year history of the program.
Lynn is joined in the preseason poll by fellow Sunshine State Conference opponents, No. 5 Tampa and No. 6 Barry, while Nova Southeastern and Eckerd are receiving votes. The Fighting Knights will square off against No. 10 Missouri-St. Louis early in the season and they host Wheeling (receiving votes) in early September.
Lynn opens its 2023 season at the Ray Thrasher Classic at Trevecca Nazarene on Sept. 1-2 and opens its home schedule on Sept. 8 with Edward Waters at 12:00 pm.
