DAVIE, Fla. - The Lynn swim teams delivered statement performances on Thursday at the Shark Invite, highlighted by a school-record swim from
Maurice Grabowski and a series of podium finishes across both the women's and men's squads. The Fighting Knights showcased depth and speed throughout the day at Nova Southeastern, earning multiple event victories, runner-up finishes, and strong relay efforts to set the tone for the remainder of the meet

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Women:
- The duo of
Lydia Douthit (54.93) and
Mariele De Santis (55.87) kicked off the meet in explosive fashion on Thursday morning, placing first and second in the 100 Fly

Ciara Twomey placed in the top finalists in the 100 Fly, taking home sixth in 56.52
- Four of the Blue and White women placed in the top 18 of the 500 Free including
Eva Stacey (ninth / 5:06.23),
Adel Pal (13th / 5:12.28),
Nina Kman (17th / 5:19.85), and
Nella Briceno (18th / 5:21.37)

Ally Webster was the runner-up in the 200 Individual Medley (2:04.03) while
Truly Sommer rounded out the top eight at 2:10.57 and Malaika Schnieder placed ninth (2:10.99)

Luz Tapia placed eighth in the 50 Free at 23.95 while
Lily Drons took home 10th at 24.12
- The women rounded out the morning session with a second place finish in the 200 Medley Relay as the team of
Ala Piascinska, Schneider, Douthit and Drons clocked in at 1:42.97
- De Santis (4:21.23) and Webster (4:25.41) opened the evening session with back-to-back finishes in the 400 Individual Medley for first and second place respectively
- Tapia took home fourth in the 200 Free with a 1:50.35 finals time
- Schneider took runner-up in the 100 Breast with a 1:02.66 finish while Webster claimed fifth place at 1:05.26
- Piascinska placed second in the 100 Back with a 56.87 finish, dropping .71 from her qualifying time while Fouthit placed sixth at 57.30
- The women closed out their run on Thursday evening placing second in the 200 Free Relay as the quartet of Schneider, Tapia,
Krystina Zavalaga and Drons finished the relay in 1:35.25

- Grabowski smashed the Fighting Knight 100 Fly record, placing first with a finals time of 46.12

Vitaly Kostin (47.74) and
Enzo Constable (48.12) both placed top six in the 100 Fly, earning fifth and sixth place respectively

Eli Spivak took fifth in the 500 Free (4:32.95) while
Efe Guler took 10th (4:40.38)

Max Tsyfarov earned second place in the 200 Individual Medley with a 1:49.93 finish

Paul Warnagiris (12th / 1:54.59),
Kamil Geisner (15th / 1:55.05), and
Xavier Washington (1:56.22) rounded out the top 18 for the Fighting Knights in the 200 IM
- Grabowski nearly beat his own school record in the 50 Free, placing second with a 19.65 finish
- Behind Grabowski, six other Fighting Knights placed in the top 18 of the 50 Free including Constable (fifth / 20.32),
Spencer Hobbs (11th / 20.66),
Paul Melcer (12th / 20.72), Brady Moore (14th / 20.90),

- The men concluded the morning session with a second place finish in the 200 Medley Relay as Melcer, Tsyfarov, Grabowski and Constable swam to a 1:26.70 finish
- Kostin took home second place in the 200 Free, racing to a 1:37.76 finish in the event finals
- Tsyfarov nearly capitalized on his current school record in the 100 Breast with a second place finish of 53.42
- Melcer achieved first place in the 100 Back with a 47.83 finish, nearly setting a new Lynn record while Washington cruised to a fifth-place finish (49.11)
- The squad of Constable, Kostin, Melcer and Grabowski came in second in the 200 Free Relay (1:20.19), coming in just .21 shy of first place
