BOCA RATON, Fla. - Lynn University officially unveiled its new softball stadium this week, marking a significant milestone for the Fighting Knights and the continued growth of Lynn Athletics.
The new facility underscores the university's commitment to athletic excellence and the student-athlete experience, providing a modern home for the softball program and a new gathering space for the campus community.
"We would like to thank President Kevin Ross, Chris Boniforti, Madison Slate, the Board of Directors, and the rest of the Cabinet for their vision and commitment to our softball program," said Director of Athletics
Kathy Kroupa. "We also extend our gratitude to Kaufman Lynn Construction and CSR Construction for their exceptional craftsmanship and tireless efforts in bringing this project to life."
The new stadium represents a transformational investment, enhancing training, competition, recruiting, and overall game-day experience.
"We are beyond grateful and excited to open our new softball stadium," Kroupa added. "This project not only elevates our softball program but also creates a space that energizes our student-athletes and campus community."
After months of construction, Lynn's softball student-athletes and coaching staff will officially take the field in their new home on Saturday, Feb. 7, hosting Keiser University in a home-opening doubleheader scheduled for 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
