HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Owls scored a run in each of the first two innings before John Borup's triple in the bottom half tied the game.
- SCSU went back to work in third, tallying a three-run inning, but Lynn again answered with a three-run bottom half.
- The fourth got away from the Fighting Knights, as the Owls crossed the plate 11 times.
- After back-to-back singles from Borup and Kyle Schindler in the bottom of the frame, John Silviano slammed a ball over the fence to expand his team homer lead to 10.
- Austin Sprinkle highlighted the home sixth with the first triple of his Lynn career.
- The SCSU offense found three more runs in the seventh to go in front 19-12.
- Kyle Schindler's fourth home run of the season was Lynn's lone tally in the seventh.
- The Owls managed three more in the final frame, and Silviano again went deep in the bottom half to score the game's final run.
