GREENSBORO, N.C. - Lynn University junior third baseman
Jason Lashley added another postseason honor to his standout 2026 campaign, earning American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-South Region Second Team recognition, the organization announced Tuesday.
Â
Lashley continued to collect accolades after previously being named a D2CCA All-South Region Second Team selection and First Team All-Sunshine State Conference honoree earlier this postseason.
Â
The Lake Worth native emerged as one of the top offensive third basemen in the South Region after batting .349 with a .934 OPS across 49 starts for the Fighting Knights. Lashley totaled 65 hits, 49 runs scored, 33 RBI, seven doubles, two triples, and four home runs while serving as one of Lynn's most consistent hitters throughout the season.
Â
The junior ranked among the Sunshine State Conference leaders in runs scored and walks while producing 19 multi-hit games during the year. His season was highlighted by a six-hit, five-RBI cycle performance against Georgian Court on Feb. 22. Lashley also added seven stolen bases and struck out just 15 times in 186 at-bats, showcasing both consistency and plate discipline at the plate.
Â
Lashley helped anchor the Fighting Knights offense throughout the 2026 campaign and now becomes one of the few Lynn players to earn multiple all-region honors in the same season.
