HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game 1
- Kyle Schindler reached on a defensive blunder to become the first base runner of the afternoon, and John Silviano followed with his 14th home run of the season.
- The Tars combined four base hits with a Lynn error to plate five runs in the home second, chasing Lynn right-hander Donovan Armas along the way.
- The Fighting Knights were unable to take advantage of a bases-loaded, no-out situation in the third, settling for one run on a wild pitch.
- Reliever Jonathon Eisdorfer gave the Blue and White 5.2 innings of strong relief work, but the eighth frame got away from the Fighting Knights, as the Tars managed to scratch across seven runs.
Game 2
- Silviano's third long ball of the series put the Fighting Knights in front 3-0 in the top of the first.
- Tar centerfielder Peter Nicoletto singled up the middle with the bases loaded in the bottom half, cutting the Lynn lead to 3-2.
- Silviano struck yet again in the top of the fourth inning, crushing his second big fly of the game over the wall in right center to expand the Fighting Knights' lead to 5-2.
- The Blue and White posted a big fifth, as five runs scored to give Lynn a 10-2 advantage.
- Eric Schindler started the seventh with a double and came in to score on Frank Grandinette's fielder's choice four batters later.
- The Tars managed two runs in each of the next two frames, but the home nine would get no closer to sweeping the series.

- Eisdorfer struck out four batters in his longest outing of the year, and Ben Fagan recorded the final two outs.

- Brad Case tossed 6.2 frames for the Tars, scattering five hits and allowed two earned runs en route to his second win of the spring.
- Mike Gaughan and Matt Hendricks combined for the final 2.1 of the first game, overcoming a hit and a walk to hold Lynn off the scoreboard.
- Jaret Vermillion earned the win for the Fighting Knights in the final game of the weekend after pitching into the sixth inning and fanning seven.
