Box Score Winter Park, Fla. – Lynn University's volleyball team went the distance yet again on Thursday night, battling from wire-to-wire with host Rollins College to a decisive fifth frame. The Tars were able to rattle off a crushing 10-1 scoring run in the final set to clinch the Sunshine State Conference tilt over the Fighting Knights, 3-2.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Lynn's outsides provided the offensive volume, accounting for 37 of the teams 57 kills on the night. Rafaela Fonseca led all players in the match with 20 kills and rounded out a big double-double with 19 digs. Sonja Udovcic tallied 17 kills, but her offensive efficiency and back row defense stood out. The sophomore posted a career-best .325 attack percentage with just four errors on 40 swings and collected a match-high 24 digs.
- Coming out of the middle, Marcella De Vuono and Lauren Odom recorded five blocks apiece, including two solo stuffs for the Brazilian sophomore. Odom bounced eight kills at a career-best .583 attack clip while De Vuono tacked on five.
- The Blue and White started in a 6-2 formation before handing the reigns over to Nicol Colonna. The senior logged 39 assists from the setter position, along with two kills, nine digs and three blocks.
- Brooke Creteau notched two service aces for the second time in the past four matches.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Lynn's .207 hitting percentage is the team's best performance in a loss this season and third-highest overall.
- Colonna had never registered more than four assists in a match during her college career, last serving as a setter in high school.
- Udovcic's 24 digs are one shy of tying her season-high.
- Libero Andrea McDonald recorded her eighth 20+ dig performance this season with 22 on the night.
- The Fighting Knights have gone to five sets in seven of their 15 matches this year.
