Winter Park, Fla. – Lynn University men's tennis team brought a large contingent of players and saw solid success on Friday at the opening day of the Rollins College C.L. Varner Memorial Invitational.

DOUBLES DRAW:
Doubles Flight A
- Florian Clemares and Tristan Houle represented the Fighting Knights in the top doubles flight. The veteran duo won their opening match, 8-3, before dropping a tight match against Saint Leo, 9-7.
Doubles Flight B
SINGLES DRAW:
Singles Flight A
- Clemares had a strong showing in his first singles match of the tournament, taking down Rasmus Jonnson, 6-1, 6-3.
Singles Flight B
- Houle also won his opening match in straight sets, nabbing a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Victor Appelqvist of Eckerd.

Singles Flight D
- Ljungstrom rebounded from a 6-1 setback in the first set but took a three-set defeat at the hands of host Rollins (6-1, 6-7 (2), 10-4).
Singles Flight E
- Schoolcraft came through in a third-set tiebreaker for a 4-6, 6-2, 10-4 triumph.
