BOCA RATON, Fla. – A 3-0 advantage in doubles play was crucial in the eighth-ranked Lynn University men's tennis team's victory over 29th-ranked University of Indianapolis on Wednesday as the Fighting Knights pulled out a 5-4 nonconference triumph. The Fighting Knights have now won 10 straight matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn took all three doubles flights, highlighted by a dominant and impressive performance at the top position.
- At No. 1 doubles, Mehdi Laalej and Florian Clemares handled the sixth-ranked tandem in the country, 8-1.
- Jean-Baptiste Mateo and Tristan Houle followed up with an 8-4 victory at No. 3 with Kay Bartmann and Jose Porfirio Ordonez rounding out the sweep at No. 2, 8-5.
- In singles, 19th-ranked Mateo put Lynn in the driver's seat up 4-0 with a top-notch performance at No. 2, blanking 29th-ranked Christoph Drechsler, 6-0, 6-0.
- The tides quickly turned as the Greyhounds rattled off three-straight wins at the first, third, and fourth singles flights.
- Houle remained calm and secured the win for the Blue and White at No. 5, 6-3, 6-4.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- It was the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
- The Greyhounds have played three-straight top-20 opponents, dropping two.
- Laalej (11-1) and Bartmann (11-1) each suffered their first singles defeat of the season.
