Fort Lauderdale, Florida – After a long break, the Fighting Knights were back in action and placed first in many right from the start.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the first event, the 200 Yard Medley Relay, the Fighting Knights' placed first with a time of 1:33.71. Julian Chan Quee Lin had the best time on the team with a leg of 19.87.
- The Fighting Knights placed first again, this time in the 1000 Yard Freestyle. Josh Fountain had a time of 9:48.57, four seconds faster than NSU's second place.
- In the 200 Yard Freestyle, Lynn's best finish was fourth place with Chan Quee Lin's 1:46.57.
- Thomas Labarias placed first for the Fighting Knights in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 53.41, beating NSU's second place by .15.
- In the 100 Yard Breaststroke, Ignacio Alvarez placed second with a time of 59.04 and Daniel Varon placed third in 59.97.
- In the 200 Yard Butterfly, Lynn finished in third with Mohamed Masmoudi recording a time of 1:55.47.
- Chan Quee Lin placed third for Lynn's best finish in the 50 Yard Freestyle.
- Mike Sickels placed second for the Fighting Knights in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:00.32.
- Alvarez' time of 2:14.87 was good enough for third in the 200 Yard Breaststroke. Varon was behind with a time of 2:15.23.
- The Fighting Knights took first again in the 500 Yard Freestyle. Fountain's time of 4:44.52 led the Fighting Knights. Masmoudi placed second behind Foutain by .18.
- Lynn's best finish in the 100 Yard Butterfly was second thanks to Chan Quee Lin's time of 51.41, behind first by .18.
- Jeff Davenport placed fourth for Lynn's best finish in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:06.01.
- In the last event, the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, the Fighting Knights finished in third with a time of 3:11.06 from Masmoudi, Alvarez, Labarias, and Fountain.
NEXT MEET:
The Fighting Knights will return home on Saturday, Jan. 22 with a meet against Florida Southern at 10 a.m.
