BRADENTON, Fla. – The Lynn University women's golf team posted its second win of the fall season on Tuesday when it captured the Rollins Legends Invitational championship trophy.
The Fighting Knights fired an 868 in three rounds to finish +16, seven shots clear of runner-up Dallas Baptist University. Lynn was 22 shots ahead of third-place Findlay (890).
In four matches this fall, the Fighting Knights have two wins and two second-place finishes. The other win for Lynn came at the Palm Beach Intercollegiate three weeks ago.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn led from wire-to-wire and sat in first place following a +1, 285 after round one. Lynn shot an even par, 284 in round two and closed with a +15, 299 in round three.
- The Fighting Knights paced the field in par 4 scoring (4.10 / +17) and fired a tournament-best 39 birdies. Lynn also finished second in par 5 scoring at -5 and 4.89.

Sara Ericsson all finished in the top-seven in the final standings
- Hoyos tied for runner-up after shooting a three-over par, 216.
- Hoyos opened the tournament with an even par 71 and then posted a +1, 72 and a +2, 73 to close the three-round tournament
- She tied for third in par 4 scoring (4.03 / +1) and tied for second with 40 pars
- Schlick and Ericsson tied for fourth at +4, 217
- In round two, Ericsson tied for the lowest round of the tournament with a -3, 68, while Schlick shot a -1, 70

- Ericsson tied for second in par 5 scoring at 4.67 and -3, while Schlick was fourth in par 5 scoring at 4.78 and -2
- Schlick finished in seventh place with 38 pars
- Ericsson was second in the field with 12 birdies

Adriana Iribarren shot a +12, 225 to tie for 23
rd, and
Camila Madariaga shot a +13, 226 and tied for 27
th place
- Iribarren opened the tournament with a -1, 70
