Box Score Boca Raton, Florida – The Fighting Knights used a season-high three home runs to power past Delta State 17-13.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights came out swinging, as Byron Murray blasted a home run to left field, to bring home Anthony Orrico and give Lynn a 2-1 lead in the first inning.
- In the second inning, Delta State regained the lead, going up 5-2.
- In the third inning, Joseph Rosselli picked up two RBI's on a single to center field. Ryan Ford and Murray scored on the hit, which tightened up the score 5-4 heading into the fourth.
- Nate Shane came in to relieve starter Greyson Fletcher in the top of the fourth. Shane pitched in 2.0 innings, allowing three hits and throwing one strikeout.
- Delta State scored three runs in the top of the fourth inning, pushing their lead to 8-4 lead.
- In the bottom of the fourth, the Fighting Knights exploded for six runs to take their first lead of the game. It all got started when Orrico got hit by a pitch. Matt Archer followed it up with a single to left field for the first hit of the inning. After an out was recorded, Ford singled to left field to score the first run of the inning.
- Yuzuki Okamura came to the plate next, and he sent a home run to left field, bringing home Ford and Archer and tying the game at eight.
- Brandon Kruzinski would get an RBI after being hit by a pitch to give Lynn their first lead of the game. It was followed by a sacrifice fly from Orrico which scored Anthony Sanabria.
- In the bottom of the fifth, Lynn extended their lead when Sanabria went deep for the second Lynn home run of the day.
- In the sixth inning, Delta State tied the game at 12.
- In the bottom of the seventh, Sanabria hit a two-run double to give Lynn the lead again.
- Delta State would add a run in the eighth, but Lynn would add three as Archer, Ford and Okamura each recorded RBIs.
- Jake Buxbaum pitched the final 3.2 innings for the Fighting Knights to pick up the win. He only allowed one hit and one run, while throwing four strikeouts.
- Sanabria and Okamura each recorded four RBIs. They, along with Archer and Murray, also had three hits.

The Fighting Knights will be back in action against Valdosta State tomorrow, Feb. 13 at 12 p.m.
