- Jose Martinez sealed the deal in the final four innings for the Fighting Knights. Martinez shut out Tusculum, while only allowing two hits and throwing three strikeouts.
- Lynn went on a frenzy in the first inning driving home four runs, after a leadoff hit by Anthony Orrico got things started.
- Matt Archer, Ryan Ford, and Anthony Sanabria all got a hit in the inning to get Lynn out to a fast 4-0 start.
- The second and third inning were shutouts by both teams, while Fletcher only allowed one hit during that stretch.
- In the bottom of the fourth, the Fighting Knights picked up an extra run when Ford recorded one of his team-high three hits to bring home Brandon Kruzinski. Kruzinski singled to shortstop to lead off the inning.
- Kruzinski started the sixth inning with a base hit, followed by an Archer single to centerfield later in the inning. The Fighting Knights would score once in the inning to take a 6-1 lead going into the seventh.
- Much like their second game of the season, the Fighting Knights used the eighth inning to seal the deal. Lynn scored three runs in the inning to push the score to 9-1. It all started when Peter Avino singled to left field to start the bottom of the eighth for the Fighting Knights.
