Box Score Winter Park, Florida – After getting shut out yesterday by the Tars, the Fighting Knights delivered some payback with a 2-1 victory. Allowing just one run on two hits, the Fighting Knights will return home taking the tight series from Rollins, allowing just two runs.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The bats were hot for the Fighting Knights out the gate. After back-to-back singles from Anthony Orrico and Brandon Kruzinski, a walk from Byron Murray set up bases loaded, but a strikeout and double play would end the inning before Lynn could add any runs.
- After a strong game on the mound yesterday, Marcus Eusebio pitched today for Lynn and got off to a hot start tallying two Ks in the first inning.
- In the top of the fifth after no scoring, Orrico knocked a single up the middle before advancing to third on two wild pitches. A single from Murray would get him to first, but Orrico was out at home.
- After Murray stole second and advanced to third, Yuzuki Okamura who reached on a drop three, took second while Murray scored on a wild pitch. Lynn leading 1-0.
- The Tars scored in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI double after Drew Dwyer came in to pitch for Lynn.
- The Fighting Knights, however, would get back in front for the lead.
- In the top of the eighth, Okamura walked to get on base and a single from Anthony Sanabria advanced Okamura to third. With Joseph Rosselli at the plate, an RBI single drove in Okamura for a 2-1 lead.
- Jake Buxbaum came in for Dwyer and closed out the game after three up and three down.
- Roselli went 1-4 with an RBI single.
- Murray went 1-4 with a run and added a stolen base.
- Okamura had a walk and a run.
- Sanabria went 2-4.
- Orrico went 2-5.
- Eusebio went four innings, striking out four and allowing one hit.
- Dwyer who earned the win, pitched four innings giving up one run on one hit while throwing four Ks.
- Buxbaum tallied his SSC leading fifth save after allowing no runs or hits in the ninth.
