Boca Raton, Florida – The Fighting Knights fall to Molloy 12-4 in seven innings due to weather conditions.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Marvin Guzman received his fifth start of the season against the Malloy Lions.
• The Lions took an early 3-0 lead going into the second inning.
• The top of the second was more of the same for the Lions, as they added five more to make it an 8-0 lead for the Lions.
• The Fighting Knights would chip away in the bottom of the third inning. Anthony Orrico hit a leadoff single to third base to get the inning started for Lynn.
• Byron Murray would single a few at-bats later to load the bases with one out in the third. Daniel Alfonzo blasted a double one at-bat later to right field, bringing home the first two runs of the game for Lynn.
• Murray would score due to a sacrifice hit by Ryan ford to make it an 8-3 game. Anthony Sanabria would smash a single to right field to bring home the final run of the inning for Lynn to make an 8-4 Lions lead.
• In the top of the fifth Molloy would score four more runs to make it a 12-4 lead.
• The Fighting Knights were up to bat in the bottom of the seventh when the game was called due to weather conditions. Molloy would win 12-4 in 6.5 innings played.
