Box Score Fort Lauderdale, Florida – The Fighting Knights would start the game out hot, however they could not get the runs when needed down the stretch as they lose the first game of the three game series against Nova Southeastern 6-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights would start the game fast with two quick runs in the top of the first inning.
- With two outs Daniel Alfonzo was hit by a pitch that got the first runner in scoring position for Lynn in the inning. Yazuki Okamura would single to center field with the very next at bat to bring home the first run of the game.
- Ryan Ford would follow up Okamura with a single to right field bringing home Alfonzo to make it a 2-0 heading into the bottom of the first.
- Nova Southeastern would go three up and three down in the bottom of the first, however they would follow it up with a three run second inning to take a 3-2 lead.
- The Fighting Knights would add one run in the top of the fifth inning to tie the game 3-3. Matt Archer would get the first hit of the inning with a single to left field, putting a runner at third base for Lynn.
- A Byron Murray hit up the middle brought Orrico home on a fielders choice play to second by Nova Southeastern.
- In the bottom of the fifth Nova Southeastern matched Lynn with one run scored to retake a 4-3 advantage.
- In the bottom of the eighth Nova Southeastern would add two more runs to their one run lead to make it a 6-3 game. The Fighting Knights would put up a battle but leave the tying runs on base as they lose to Nova Southeastern.
