Box Score Fort Lauderdale, Florida – The Fighting Knights would start the game out hot, however they could not get the runs when needed down the stretch as they lose the second of the three game series against Nova Southeastern 15-8.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights would get on the board first in the top of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead heading into the bottom of the second. A Matt Archer double was the first hit of the game for Lynn and immedietly put a runner in scoring position. A few at-bats later Archer would score on a passed ball to give Lynn their first run of the game.
- Nova Southeastern would have a big response in the bottom of the first, scoring four runs to take a 4-1 advantage.
- Anthony Orrico would blast a triple into center field to lead off the inning for the fighting Knights. Byron Murray would steal to second to put himself into scoring position.
- The very next play Yazuki Okamura would hit a base hit to right field, bringing home Murray for the second run of the inning. Lynn would close the game to a 4-3 deficit going into the bottom of the third.
- In the bottom of the fifth Nova Southeastern would add three runs to make it a 7-3 Nova lead.
- The Fighting Knights would battle back with two runs in the inning, cutting it to a two run deficit.
- A Ryan Ford double put Okamura at third who was walked earlier in the inning. Joseph Encarnacion would blast a single field to bring home two runs for Lynn and make it a 7-5 game.
- Lynn would follow up their two run inning with three more in the top of the seventh to take a 8-7 lead. A lead of double from Murray to start the inning was all the momentum they needed.
- Later in the inning Anthony Sanabria hit a single to bring home the second run of the inning for Lynn. Right after Encarnacion hit a double to center field, bringing home Sanabria for the final run of the inning.
- Nova Southeastern would get hot with seven runs in the bottom o the seventh and Lynn could not recover. The Fighting Knights would fight in the eighth and ninth inning but would fall short 15-8.
