Boca Raton, Florida – The Fighting Knights exploded for 15 runs, to cruise to a rubber match victory over the Yellow Jackets.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Yellow Jackets struck first, taking a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning. However, their lead would be short-lived. 
• In the bottom of the inning, the Fighting Knights put together a huge two-out rally that began when Yuzuki Okamura stole home to tie the game at 1-1. On the very next pitch, Joseph Encarnacion hit a two-run home run to left field to give Lynn a 3-1 lead.
• Brandon Kruzinski and Matt Archer reached base on back-to-back singles, then Anthony Orrico belted a bases clearing triple to put the Fighting Knights up 5-1. Orrico then scored on a wild pitch to put Lynn up 6-1 heading into the third inning.
• In the bottom of the third, Ryan Ford hit a sacrifice fly to center field to drive in Daniel Alfonso and put Lynn up 7-1.
• In the top of the sixth, the Yellow Jackets were able to score two runs, but they could have scored a lot more had it not been for an incredible diving catch early in the inning by the center fielder, Kruzinski.
• The Fighting Knights wasted no time in adding to their lead, as Joseph Encarnacion and Kruzinski led off the sixth inning with singles. Encarnacion would score when the Yellow Jackets' catcher threw the ball over the first baseman's head, and Kruzinski would be driven in by Archer to put Lynn up 9-3.
• But the Fighting Knights were only getting started. With the bases loaded, Okamura hit a single to left field to drive in two more and make the score 11-3.
• Next up was Alfonso, who hammered a bases clearing double to drive in two more and extend the Fighting Knights' lead to 10.
• Ford then blasted a home run to right field to score Alfonso and put Lynn up 15-3 heading into the top of the seventh.
• The Yellow Jackets would add a run in the eighth, but it made no difference in the outcome of the game, as Lynn cruised to a 15-4 win.
• Eight of Lynn's nine starters registered a hit, with six of them earning RBIs.
• Marcus Eusebio picked up his first win of the season after pitching a gem in his second start. He threw 5.0 innings, allowing just four hits and one unearned run. He also struck out four.
