Game 2 Final: Tampa 3 Lynn 2
Records: Lynn (27-20, 13-16 SSC), Tampa (35-8, 19-4 SSC)

HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 1):
- Both teams would start the game slow offensively, with no runs being scored through the first three innings.
- Tampa would score the first two runs in the top of the fourth to take a 2-0 lead.
- The Fighting Knights would get things going in the bottom of the fourth, with back to back hits by Daniel Alfonzo and Ryan Ford. The Spartans would allow a walk in the very next at-bat to load the bases.
- Lynn would could not capatalize leaving all three runners on base, going into the top of the fifth.
- The Spartans would increase their lead with two runs in the top of the fifth, then replicated the inning with two runs in the top of the sixth.
- Joseph Encarnacion would try and create momentum in the seventh inning with a single to left field. An error by the Spartans put a runner in scoring position for Lynn shortly after.
- Lynn would come up short leaving two runners on base in the inning.
- The Fighting Knights would create oppurtunities throughout the game, but were unable to capatalize off the oppurtunities against Tampa.
HOW IT HAPPENED (GAME 2):
- After a heartwarming senior day the Fighting Knights look to flip the script in game two of the series against Tampa.
- Marcus Eusebio would pick up three strikeouts in the first two innings for Lynn.
- Joseph Rosselli would lead things off for the Fighting Knights with a single to center field in the bottom of the third. A sacrafice bunt by Anthony Orrico put a runner in scoring position.
- With two outs and one on Daniel Alfonzo blasted a single to left field, bringing home the first run of the inning to take a 1-0 lead.
- Eusebio would go three up and three down in the top of the fourth, while also striking out the final two batters in the inning.
- A home-run in the top of the fifth inning brought home the first run of the game for the Spartans. They would follow it up with another run in the inning to take a 2-1 lead heading to the sixth inning.
- In thr top of the the ninth Tampa would add one run to make it a 3-1 lead.
- With two outs and Anthony Sanabria blasted a single to center field to put the first runner on base for Lynn, then Brandon Kruzinski hit a single to center field.
- An error by the catcher allowed the Fighting Knights to bring one home and make it a 3-2 game with two outs.
- Lynn would leave the game-leading runs on base, while one was-in scoring position.
- The Fighting Knights battled in the bottom of the ninth, but could not materialize enough hits as they fall to Tampa 3-2.
