Boca Raton, Florida - Five Lynn University swimmers have been named Scholar All-Americans by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). From the women's side, Luna Mertins, Ewa Osiniak and Karolina Smylek were all presented with First Team honors.
The CSCAA honored a total of 1,206 swimmers and divers across all divisions at the collegiate level. The criteria set forth required each athlete to earn a minimum GPA of 3.5, and then either participate in their national championship to earn First Team status or achieve a "B" standard for the national championship to earn a place on the Second Team.
This news comes just days after both the men's and women's teams were honored as Scholar All-America teams for their cumulative GPAs.
