EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Lynn University senior
Maurice Grabowski delivered another historic performance on Thursday night at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, capturing the national title in the 100 butterfly while leading a strong night for the Fighting Knights that featured multiple All-American honors and a podium finish in the men's 400 medley relay. Grabowski's championship swim of 45.34 set a new Sunshine State Conference record and marked his second individual national title of the 2026 meet, highlighting a finals session that saw Lynn swimmers collect several All-American accolades on both the men's and women's sides.

HOW IT HAPPENED (Grabowski):
- Grabowski won his second individual National Championship of 2026 in the 100 fly, clocking in at 45.34 for a new Sunshine State Conference record
- The Blue and White senior trimmed off a full 0.76 off of his preliminary time and 0.78 off of his entry time
- Grabowski is now a three-time National Champion (50 free, 100 fly, 200 medley relay) and currently holds the 17th and 18th individual National Championships for Lynn
- He is now an 11-time All-American and a seven-time first team All-American

HOW IT HAPPENED (Thurs. Finals):

Lydia Douthit earned first team All-American honors in the 100 fly out of the gate, jumping from sixth in her prelim heat to fourth in the finals with a 53.56 (-0.67)
- It marks her first individual All-American nod of the meet, also earning second team honors in the 200 medley relay on Tuesday evening
- The dynamic Blue and White duo of Grabowski and
Vitaly Kostin earned first team All-American honors in the 100 fly with Grabowski taking first (45.34) and Kostin taking eighth (46.73)
- For Kostin, it marks his second first team All-American nod of the meet, also earning the honor as part of the 200 medley relay winning team on Tuesday evening

Mariele De Santis competed in her second individual event of nationals in the 400 individual medley, leading her heat for a ninth place finish at 4:20.63 while shaving a whopping 5.18 off of her preliminary time
- De Santis is now a two-time second team All-American in 2026, also earning the honor in the 200 individual medley on Tuesday night

Luz Tapia became a first team All-American with an excellent swim in the 200 free, finishing seventh at 1:48.66 while taking off 0.08 of her prelim time
- Tapia's first team nod in the 200 free marks her first individual award of the meet while she has earned second team honors in both the 800 free relay and 200 medley relay
- The women's 400 medley relay team of
Ala Piascinska,
Malaika Schneider, Douthit and Tapia took ninth in the event, touching the wall at 3:42.25
- The men closed out the night with the 400 medley relay as the team of
Paul Melcer,
Max Tsyfarov, Kostin and Grabowski earned a third place podium finish (3:06.65) for a new Sunshine State Conference record

The Lynn swim teams return for the fourth day of nationals on Friday with prelims kicking off at 11:00 am ET and finals at 6:30 pm ET. Friday's events include the 500 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 200 fly and the 200 free relay.
