Boca Raton, Florida - The Lynn Fighting Knights men's basketball team has earned the 2021-22 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award. The award was presented to all men's collegiate basketball teams with a combined GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout the most recent academic year.
In addition, five players were named to the NABC Honors Court for their work in the classroom. These individuals were Brandon Bornelus, Braxton Bartlett, Cameron Gaines, Egon Ruhek and Servet Kurnaz. These players were awarded for finishing the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
In total, over 2,000 players earned spots on the Honors Court, and over 300 teams received the Academic Excellence Award.
