His 19.3 ppg average is tied for the sixth-best mark in a single season in program history. He is also second in a single season in rebounds per game (10.4) and fifth in both free throws made (126) and total rebounds (259).
He is the third SSC Freshman of the Year in program history and the first since SSC Hall of Famer James Taylor was honored in 2001-02. Leandro Garcia-Morales was the Fighting Knight's first-ever SSC Freshman of the Year in 2000-01.
All-conference selections and individual award winners are determined by a vote of Sunshine State Conference head coaches with oversight and approval from member institution Athletic Directors.
