Luna Mertins captured her fifth All-American honor of the 2022-23 NCAA Swimming Championships, Friday evening. As a team, the Fighting Knights sit in sixth place at the NCAA Championships.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Mertins captured sixth place in the 200-yard butterfly for her fifth All-American honor as she posted a time of 2:00.91

th in the 100 backstroke in 55.10
- Graduate student
Karolina Smylek was 14
th in the 100 backstroke in 55.25
- Senior
Malek Masmoudi was 26
th in the 500 freestyle prelims in 4:32.70
- The 200 freestyle relay team of Dekoninck, graduate

Olivia Flack aand sophomore
Mathilde Bartolini finished in 13
th place in 1:33.52
