TOCCOA, Ga. – Amelia Ruiz Topali won her second individual event of the year, as the Lynn University women's golf team finished in second place at the Currahee Elite Invite. Topali was under par in all three rounds to finish at -8, four strokes ahead of her nearest competitor. Earlier this month, Ruiz won the William Beall Fall Classic.The Fighting Knights have finished in the top three of each of their three tournaments played this fall.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Ruiz fired a -2 in her opening round as she birdied holes 17 and 18 for a 34 on the back nine
- Her best round of the tournament was a 68 in the second round
- Lilly Dullinger finished tied for 10^th at +2
- She shot a bogey-free second round 67, with three of her five birdies coming on Par 3s
- Charlotte Brook tied for 31^st place with a score of +8
- Her final round 73 bumped her up five spots in the field, as she posted four of her nine birdies for the tournament
- Leelou Girault finished one stroke back of Brook at +9, placing her tied for 33^rd
- She fired a 70 in her second round
- Emilia Koskinen shot a 71 in her final round to move up 17 spots and finish tied for 36^th place at +11
- She recorded five birdies in her first round and was -2 on the Par 4 14^th hole during the tournament
