Complete SSC Championship Results

OCALA, Fla. – The Lynn University women's swimming team earned three wins on the final day of the 2024 Sunshine State Conference Championships, Sunday. The Fighting Knight women finished in third place, while the men captured a program-best fifth place after defeating both Florida Tech and Barry.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED (Women):
- The 400 freestyle relay capped the SSC Championships with a win in an NCAA "B" cut time of 3:22.53
- The relay consisted of graduate Luna Mertins, senior Olivia Flack, sophomore Malaika Schneider and junior Laura Dekoninck
- Mertins took home the league title in the 200 backstroke in an NCAA "B" cut time of 1:58.57
- Dekoninck captured the SSC title in the 100 free in an NCAA "B" cut time of 49.97
- Schneider was fourth in the 100 free in 51.07 (NCAA B)
- Sasha Giourtzidou hit an NCAA "B" time of 2:16.53 and finished in third place in the 200 breaststroke
- Freshman Lexi Lundell was 10^th in the 200 breast in 2:22.39
 
HOW IT HAPPENED (Men):
- The foursome of freshman Max Tsyfarov, sophomore Jack Budd, sophomore Maurice Grabowski and graduate Malek Masmoudi captured third place in 2:59.18 the 400 free relay
- Junior Kamil Piotrowicz finished runner-up in the 200 breaststroke with an NCAA "B" cut time of 1:58.85
- Freshman Ryan Zasas captured fifth in the 200 breast with an NCAA "B" cut time of 1:59.96
- Russell Hart finished in 10^th in the 200 breast in 2:04.20
- Grabowski was ninth in the 100 free at 44.51 (NCAA B)
- Tsyfarov took 12^th in the 100 free at 44.92 (NCAA B)
- Graduate Lincoln Greseth was fourth in the 1650 free in an NCAA "B" cut time of 15:48.43
- Graduate Conor Dunne took seventh in the 1650 in 16:03.79
