INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship field has been announced and No. 12 ranked Lynn University has captured the sixth seed in the South Regional. The Fighting Knights will compete in the regional May 6-8 at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tenn.
Lynn, one of 48 teams selected to the '24 NCAA Championship, will play 54 holes at the south regional and the top five teams will advance to the National Championship at Orange County National Golf Center in Orlando (May 21-25).
The Fighting Knights enter the regional with four-consecutive top-five finishes, including fourth place at the SSC Championships in mid-April. In total, Lynn has eight top-five finishes this year with a win at the World Golf Invitational and runner-up finish at the UIndy Invitational.
In September, Lynn played at Cleveland Country Club at the NCAA DII South Regional Preview and finished in fourth place of 17 teams that competed.
The South Regional features several ranked teams including No. 2 Flagler, No. 3 Nova Southeastern, No. 6 Anderson, No. 8 Rollins, No. 10 Barry, No. 15 Saint Leo, No. 16 Lee, No. 19 Wingate, No. 20 Limestone
