BOCA RATON, Fla. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced the Scholar All-America Teams for the spring 2024 semester and both the Lynn University men's and women's teams were among the award winners.
The Fighting Knight women posted a 3.62 GPA, while the men collected a 3.40 GPA, and both programs were among 722 teams honored from across Division I, II, and III, NAIA and NJCAA levels.
The CSCAA honored 51 NCAA Division II women's programs for their work in the classroom and Lynn's 3.62 GPA was the 17
th highest in the country. On the men's side, Lynn tied for the 21st-highest GPA among the 47 DII programs recognized by the CSCAA.
For teams to be recognized they must post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the spring semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.
Both programs garnered Scholar All-America status following the spring 2023 semester.
