BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Lynn Fighting Knights are headed back to the postseason, officially earning a spot in the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Tournament. Lynn enters the South Region as the No. 3 seed after a 21-9 regular season and an 11-9 mark in Sunshine State Conference play, marking the program's fourth straight 20-win campaign. The Blue and White will open their title defense on Thursday, Dec. 4 in Tampa , taking on sixth-seeded UAH in the first round of regional action.

TOURNAMENT PREVIEW:
Lynn has qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Tournament along with 63 other programs from across the country including seven fellow teams from the South Region. The Fighting Knights enter the postseason looking to defend their 2024 national championship after finishing 21-9 in regular season play and 11-9 in Sunshine State Conference play.

Laney Wilson provided steady production as a middle blocker, finishing the regular season with 131 kills on .265 hitting while adding 50 total blocks and 160.5 points to anchor Lynn's front-row defense

Valentina Mogg emerged as a reliable six-rotation option, totaling 131 kills, 22 aces, 133 digs, and 161.5 points while hitting .237 and contributing consistently on offense
- Defensively, Lynn tallied 1,680 digs (15.00 per set) with libero

#6 UAH
- UAH reached the south regional behind a 24-7 campaign that saw the Chargers go 15-5 in GSC play, including a key 3-1 win against No. 16 West Florida on Halloween
- The Chargers reached the semifinals of the GSC Championship tournament last weekend, before falling to Trevecca Nazarene in a five-set slugfest
- UAH prides itself on a strong defense, ranking first in the GSC in digs per set (17.54), and first in opponent hitting percentage (.146)
- Overall, the Chargers have tallied 1,982 digs as a unit and are led by GSC Freshman of the Year libero Sydney Durban, who posted 450 digs (4.37 digs per set)
- Along with Durban, Caroline Moyer (345 kills / 3.38 K/S) and Zoe Smith (329 kills / 340 digs) were noted as members of the All-GSC teams

#1 Tampa
- The Spartans went on a perfect 28-0 run in the 2025 regular season, clinching the SSC regular season title and earning both the number one seed and hosting privileges for the south regional

- Head coach Brian Imperiale earned SSC Coach of the Year in his first campaign at the helm of the program
- Tampa ranks first in the nation in hitting percentage (.300), along with Match win/loss percentage (1.000)
- The Spartans also rank first in the conference in kills per set (13.75), and opponent hitting percentage at .168
- Tampa featured six players on the SSC All-Conference Team including first team outside hitter Connor Rahn and first team opposite Nathaly Perez
- The top-seeded Spartans will take on eight-seed Spring Hill in the first round

- Barry pieced together a dominant 23-4 campaign in 2025, including a 16-4 run in SSC play to earn the number two seed
- The Buccaneers ranked third in the nation in hitting percentage (.296) while leading the SSC in aces per set (2.04), assists per set (12.48) and blocks per set (2.61)
- The Bucs were led by SSC Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year Valeriya Kozlova, who recorded 367 kills, 427 points, 54 blocks and 28 aces in her first season at Barry
- Along with Kozlova, the Buccaneers featured four total players on All-SSC teams including first team outside hitter Veronika Eremeeva
- Barry will face off with Eckerd in the first round

#4 West Florida
- West Florida punched its ticket to the regional with a win over Trevecca Nazarene in the Gulf South Conference Championship tournament last weekend, capping off a 27-5 season
- The Argonauts went 18-2 in GSC play, winning seven straight down the stretch on the path to becoming 14-time conference champions
- The Argos rank third in the nation in total kills (1,668), while ranking first in the GSC in assists per set (13.19), hitting percentage (.238), kills per set (14.38), assists (1,530), digs (2,015) and win percentage (.844)
- UWF is led by Head coach Melissa Wolter, who claimed her 10th GSC Coach of the Year award this season
- The Argos feature the GSC Player and Setter of the Year Gabi Moulton (1,176 assists / 10.50 A/S) as well as Libero of the Year Maddie Mire (564 digs / 5.40 D/S)
- West Florida will square off with Palm Beach Atlantic in the opening round

#5 Palm Beach Atlantic
- Palm Beach Atlantic earned its first appearance in the regional since 2021, coming off the back of a successful 22-9 regular season and 12-8 run in SSC play
- The Sailfish rank first in the conference in team kills with 1,604, good for 11th in Division II
- PBA is spearheaded by SSC Setter of the Year Grace Reynolds, who finished the regular season with 1,051 assists, the most in the conference
- Along with Reynolds, the Sailfish featured three players on All-SSC teams including outside hitter Kaley Board, who landed on the All-SSC second team
- Palm Beach Atlantic will take onWest Florida in the opening round

#7 Eckerd
- Eckerd will appear in the south regional after piecing together a 19-12 season, winning six of its last eight games in the SSC to secure a spot in the NCAA tournament
- The Tritons featured two contributors on All-SSC teams including outside hitter Kinga Michalska on the first team (401 kills) and third team setter Gabi Jedrzejczak (661 assists)
- The Tritons totaled 191.0 blocks, matching opponents exactly at 1.64 blocks per set
- Eckerd averages 13.30 kills per set, outpacing their opponents' 11.68 kills per set
- The Tritons are one of the SSC's top serving teams, averaging 1.99 aces per set with 231 total aces
- Eckerd will face off with a familiar foe in the first round, taking on Barry

#8 Spring Hill
- Spring Hill is set to make its seventh-consecutive NCAA tournament appearance after going 26-5 overall and a perfect 19-0 in Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) play
- The Badgers won their seventh-straight SIAC title after defeating Fort Valley State in a tight, five-set contest in the SIAC Championship final last weekend
- SHC racked up various conference awards including Ashlyn Whiteside (467 digs / 64 aces) earning SIAC Libero of the year, Monica Vargo (990 assists) earning SIAC Setter of the Year among others
- The Badgers rank first in the SIAC in hitting percentage (.256), assists (1,278), kills (1,365), and digs (1,570)
- Spring Hill will take on top-seeded Tampa in the opening round
