GREENSBORO, N.C. – The 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-Region teams and Regional Players of the Year have been announced in all eight regions and Lynn's
Cole Fowler was named South Region Position Player of the Year and All-Region First Team while
Nathan Shane earned a spot on the All-Region Second Team.
Fowler is the fifth Fighting Knight in program history to win the award. The third baseman hit .438 with 19 home runs and 64 RBI in 48 games played. His 1.92 hits per game ranks first among all NCAA DII players.
He was previously named NCBWA and D2CCA South Region Player of the Year. He joins Anthony Boza (2012) and John Silviano (2016) as the only Lynn student-athletes to win South Region Player of the Year by all three organizations.
Shane joins John Schulz (2003) and Bill Mendek (2014) as the third Fighting Knight reliever to earn an ABCA/Rawlings All-South Region nomination. 21 of his 23 appearances came in relief as he posted a 4-3 record and conference-leading nine saves. Hitters batted just .234 against the senior as he struck out over a batter per inning (51 SO/49.1 IP) and added a 3.47 ERA.
Shane also earned regional spots on the NCBWA First Team and D2CCA Second Team.
