OCALA, Fla. - The Lynn University swim teams delivered a statement performance on Friday night at the Sunshine State Conference Championships, piling up podium finishes and rewriting the record books in another standout session. Behind silver-medal swims from the women and a historic, record-breaking effort by the men's relay squad, the Fighting Knights showcased depth, speed, and championship poise as the meet surges towards day four.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Women):

Lydia Douthit got things started for the Fighting Knights on Friday evening's session, taking home the silver medal in the 100 Fly (53.51)

Mariele De Santis made her way back to the podium on Friday night, claiming second in the 400 Individual Medley with a finish of 4:22.27 as she continues her dominant run at conference

Ally Webster also had a solid showing in the 400 IM, coming in fifth at 4:25.37 for another top five finish
Luz Tapia put together a top-eight swim in the 200 Freestyle, coming in seventh with a finals time of 1:50.31

Malaika Schneider came in just behind Tapia at 13th with a finish of 1:52.30
- The women's relay team claimed yet another medal as the 400 Medley Relay squad of
Ala Piascinska, Schneider, Douthit and Tapia took second place at 3:42.05, edging out Nova Southeastern by just .01 (3:42.06)

Maurice Grabowski set another SSC Championship meet record on Friday evening, taking first in the 100 Fly with a record-breaking time of 46.18
- Just behind him in second was
Vitaly Kostin (46.81) as the Fighting Knights claimed the top two spots on the podium in the 100 Fly

Enzo Constable cruised in just behind the dynamic duo in fifth (47.71) as the Blue and White Men dominated the opening event of Friday night's finals

Paul Warnagiris took 13th in the 400 Individual Medley (3:59.93) for another qualifying finish
- Kostin made his way back up to the podium for his third place finish in the 200 Freestyle, coming in at 1:35.66
- The Blue and White men's relay team broke the Sunshine State Conference record in the 400 Medley, as the speedy lineup of Grabowski,
Max Tsyfarov, Kostin and Constable made conference history with a first place finish of 3:08.51 to close out a flashy Friday evening
