BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University's men's soccer team fell to #15 Tampa, 1-0, Saturday afternoon at LU's McCusker Sports Complex.  Lister Warren found the back of the net for the Spartans in the 86th minute for the game-winner.

The score by Warren came off a long ball from Karl Swann to Kemal Malcolm who then crossed it to Warren for an empty-net score.

Phillip Uttikal made his first appearance of the season in goal for theFighting Knights and made a pair of saves.  

Lynn falls to 8-6 and 2-4 in the Sunshine State Conference while Tampa improves to 11-5-1 and 4-2-1 in conference play.

The Fighting Knights actually controlled possession for most of the game, outshooting Tampa, 16-10, but could not capitalize on their scoring opportunities.  Kyle Conrad had a game-high four shots while Scott Gordon, Robert Carrick and Harald Gracholski had three shots apiece for the Blue & White.

Lynn also tallied five corner kicks to just four for the Spartans.
