Columbus, Ga. - Lynn University's softball team fell to No. 2 North Georgia, 3-0, Sunday afternoon in the final game of the third day of the Hughston Sports Clinic Classic at Cougar Field.  The Fighting Knights are now 3-5 on the season while the Saints improve to 6-0.

Callie Darlin (1-3) received the loss but did not give up an earned run, allowing just three hits on the day.  The sophomore gave up just one earned run in her two losses to North Georgia.

LU had its opportunities, outhitting the Saints, 5-3 and leaving the bases loaded twice – in the third and again in the sixth inning – and stranded 11 runners for the game.  They even threatened in the seventh and got the tying run to the plate but were unable to score.
