MIAMI, Fla. – The Lynn University men's swimming team sent four swimmers to the 2022 CSCAA Open Water Championships in Biscayne Bay, Sunday. The event was a 5k race around the bay.

Malek Masmoudi, junior
Derek Halas, senior
David Romeo and senior
Brad Jacobs captured 11
th place for the Fighting Knights.
Masmoudi finished in seventh place overall with a time of 55:47.
Halas finished with a time of 1:02.20 (64th place), Romeo finished in 1:02.36 (69th), while Jacobs posted a 1:05.17 (78th).
Lynn finished first among the three Sunshine State Conference schools that competed at the event.
