Lynn baseball set to open new home this weekend with series vs. Embry-Riddle

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University Athletics will officially unveil its brand-new baseball field this weekend, marking a major milestone for the Fighting Knights and the continued growth of the department. Lynn Baseball will christen its new home with aField Shot (Lynn Baseball) three-game Sunshine State Conference series against the Embry-Riddle Eagles, beginning Friday at 3 p.m., followed by Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m.
 
The new facility highlights Lynn's ongoing commitment to excellence, providing a first-class environment for student-athletes while creating an exciting new venue for fans and the campus community. A signature feature of the ballpark is the Rudy Garbalosa Dugouts, honoring the longtime head coach whose impact and legacy have helped define Lynn Baseball for more than two decades.
 
"We're incredibly thankful to President Kevin Ross, Chris Boniforti, Madison Slate, the Board of Directors, Kaufman Lynn Construction and CSR Construction in making this vision a reality," said Director of Athletics Kathy Kroupa. "This new baseball facility reflects the pride and tradition of our program, celebrates Lynn's legacy, and gives our student-athletes a home that matches the level we compete at every day."
 
The new field represents a transformative investment for the program, enhancing training opportunities, elevating the game-day atmosphere, and strengthening Lynn's ability to recruit at a high level.
 
After months of anticipation, the Fighting Knights will take the field for the first time in their new home this weekend, welcoming Embry-Riddle for a key conference series and ushering in a new chapter of Lynn Baseball.
