Lynn University

Dan Wright was a three-time All-American pitcher for the Fighting Knight baseball team and he helped the program to its first NCAA Division II National Championship in 2009. Wright holds numerous school records, including strikeouts in a game (17), wins in a season (17), shutouts in a season (3) and strikeouts in a season (119).
 
Wright led Division II in strikeouts in 2009 en route to being named the SSC Pitcher of the Year and Lynn University Male Athlete of the Year. He is the only pitcher in Lynn history to earn First Team All-American honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association, National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America and Daktronics.
